Elisa has 16 years of experience in early childhood education as an ESL teacher in Japan. She is TESOL certified through ITTT and has experience with children from preschool age through middle school. She graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior, minoring in Drama which helps her keep her students interested and engaged through class. She excels at building connections with students and making them feel heard and seen. Elisa currently enjoys teaching social studies, science and math at LGA.
In her free time, Elisa enjoys traveling, reading, singing, cooking and handcrafting accessories. She also occasionally volunteers at local Japanese cultural events.
